We're Hiring: After School Play Leader (EYFS Qualified)

Location:

Bradford BD3

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 15:15-18:00

Wage:

minimum wage (10.00 - 12.21 per hour)

Contract:

Minimum 10 hours per week term time only

Overtime:

Additional hours available during school holidays

About the Role

As a Play Leader, you'll help create a welcoming, stimulating, and safe space for children to play, explore, and grow. You'll lead exciting activities from our bespoke curriculum - from sports and arts to science experiments and cooking - while encouraging teamwork, independence, and imagination.

This role is perfect for someone who's enthusiastic, caring, and full of energy. Whether you have experience in childcare, youth work, coaching, or just a passion for helping children thrive, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:

Leading fun, active, and engaging sessions that children look forward to Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive atmosphere Supporting children of different ages and abilities Building great relationships with parents, schools, and your Kanga teammates Helping set up and tidy the space at the start and end of each session

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

Qualified to work with EYFS children (Level 3 or QTS) Enthusiastic, reliable, and full of positive energy Great with children and able to engage all age groups Confident leading small groups and supporting free play Professional and caring when working with parents, colleagues, and schools Based in (or able to travel to) Bradford BD3 area

Bonus if you have:

On the Enhanced DBS Update service Paediatric First Aid certificate Level 2 or higher Food Hygiene and Safety
