Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in childcare practices. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children, ensuring their well-being and development. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for supervising children, planning activities, and fostering positive relationships with both the children and their families.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the childcare area. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide support in managing children's behaviour through positive reinforcement techniques. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A qualification in Early childhood education or QCF Level 5 in Childcare , Leadership & Management. Strong management and leadership skills to guide children effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A valid driving licence is an advantage for transporting children as needed. Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and adaptability in various situations.
