Activ8 is looking for a Play Leader

to join our wraparound care team at Southfield Primary School. You'll help deliver a fun and safe after-school experience for children aged 4-11, supporting their play, friendships, and wellbeing.

About the Role

As a Play Leader, you'll:

Create a welcoming and stimulating play environment Lead games, creative activities, and themed sessions for all age groups Help safeguard and support children's wellbeing Work closely with the Settings Manager, school staff, and families Promote positive behaviour and ensure safety at all times

This is a term-time only, part-time role - ideal for someone looking for consistent afternoon work that fits around other daytime commitments.

What We're Looking For

Experience working with children, ideally in a school, nursery, or sports setting A fun, kind, and confident personality Strong communication skills with both children and adults A relevant Level 2 qualification in childcare or sport (preferred) Good safeguarding knowledge (Level 1 or above) Reliability, energy, and the ability to lead small groups effectively
