Role Overview
ADF London is seeking an experienced Aftercare Manager to oversee post-completion project support. The role focuses on managing finished projects, coordinating defect resolution, and acting as the main point of contact for aftercare issues, with a strong emphasis on MEP coordination.
The successful candidate will ensure all aftercare matters are handled efficiently, professionally, and in line with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the aftercare process for completed projects from handover through defects liability period
Act as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants
Coordinate and resolve defects and aftercare issues promptly and efficiently
Manage and oversee MEP-related issues, working closely with MEP contractors and consultants
Log, track, and close out defects, ensuring clear communication and documentation
Arrange site visits, inspections, and remedial works as required
Ensure works are completed to agreed quality standards and within timeframes
Support project teams during handover to ensure smooth transition into aftercare
Maintain accurate records and reports for management and clients
Required Experience & Skills
Proven experience in an Aftercare Manager, Project Manager, or similar role within construction or fit-out
Strong understanding of MEP systems and coordination
Experience managing completed projects and defects resolution
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of UK construction practices and defect liability processes
Proficient in reporting and documentation
Desirable
Background in commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects
Familiarity with London-based construction projects
Relevant construction or engineering qualification
