Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate AFTERNOON Preschool SUPERVISOR to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool supervisor will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that promote learning through play.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development. Manage childrens behaviour effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies. Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience across the preschool programme. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Skills

Strong management and leadership abilities to guide children effectively. Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to create engaging activities that cater to diverse learning styles. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for nuturing young children are crucial for success in this role.
