Job Summary



QFort is a leading European fabricator of windows & doors systems and products.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and maintenance services for our products.

This role requires a strong understanding of windows & doors installation & functionality. It also requires the ability to communicate effectively with clients in tense moments.

The Service Engineer is a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely service delivery and high success in resolving issues.

Our office is in Egham but the role involves national travel.

Responsibilities



Perform on-site diagnostic of problems - either with product or installation, and carry out the necessary repairs / instruct partners how to repair themselves. Diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner. Collaborate with partners and their end customers to understand their concerns and explain what repairs will be carried out and what solutions QFort can provide to alleviate their concerns. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs, parts used, and time spent on tasks. Work together with team at HQ at factory to fix problems that are repetitive. Provide training and support to customers on the proper way to install and handle QFort products. Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance service delivery.

Requirements



Experience in fitting windows & doors is compulsory. Strong technical knowledge of aluminium systems for windows & doors is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driving licence is essential for travel to customer locations. Romanian language is a plus.

Pay: 42,000.00-54,000.00 per year
