To improve the skills of the MG Dealer network through tailored technical and non-technical training that meets both the needs of MG Motor and its franchised dealer network.
Salary
: Negotiable based on relevancy of experience. Starting from 33k.
Main Activities/tasks:
Deliver (sometimes pilot) all technical training courses within the MG Training program.
Provide input and assist in the development of on line video based training courses.
Contribute to, and assist in the administration of MG Technical Training programmes.
Provide input to assist in the maintenance of diagnostics and technical publications to latest level
Provide input and assist in development of content and delivery of all product/technical training for the UK dealer network.
Provide subject matter expertise for all areas of the business
Provide assistance in the maintenance, the cleaning and safety adherence of all the technical training facilities at MG Birmingham
Maintain and develop the training equipment and tools for training
Provide input into the development the Aftersales Training curriculum for each quarter to be published to the MG dealer network
Safety - Comply, adhere to, and promote all safety standards outlined by MG Motor
Special requirements
MS Office - fully familiar and proficient in Word, Powerpoint and Excel
High Voltage trained (IMI Level 3, Level 4 not essential, but preferred)
The ability to work with internal departments including Diagnostics and Technical Publications, Parts, Warranty, technical Support and Customer Service.
The ability to liaise with Engineering and Diagnostics to ensure that product training courses are constantly kept up to date.
Have an excellent level of communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to always present and make yourself understood by your audience.
Be self-motivated, confident and professional - This role is always representing the MG brand and often the face of the brand from an Aftersales perspective.

To work away from home (given reasonable timescales etc)
Able to travel at short notice within the UK.
Able to travel overseas where necessary
Punctuality and flexibility is essential and be prepared to work extra hours where/if required
Observe rules regarding MG Training working hours 8:15 - 16:45
