After-School Baking Club Leader

Part-Time | Term-Time Only | Richmond, Hampton & Kingston Areas

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced

Club Leader

to join our popular after-school baking club,

Bake With Rana

. This role is perfect for someone with a

background in baking or cookery

and

experience working with children (ages 6-11)

who is looking for a fun and rewarding way to share their skills.

Bake With Rana clubs are hugely popular. Each week, children explore exciting new recipes, learn hands-on kitchen skills, and grow in confidence. We pride ourselves on creating sessions that are fun, engaging, and educational.

What We're Looking For

Experience in baking, cookery, or food preparation

(professional or home-based)

Experience working with children

(e.g., teaching, childcare, after-school clubs, youth groups) Someone reliable, enthusiastic, and organised, who can commit to at least 3 school terms Great communication skills, with the ability to encourage and inspire children Good weekday availability from

2:30pm onwards

A positive attitude, our clubs are fun, a little messy, and always rewarding!

Your Responsibilities

Leading after-school baking sessions Arriving 30 minutes before the club starts to set up the classroom/kitchen space and prepare ingredients Guiding children step-by-step through the recipe, teaching them baking skills in a safe, engaging, and age-appropriate way Managing behaviour and ensuring children are always safe and happy Returning children to their parents/carers safely at the end of each session Cleaning and tidying the space so it's ready for the next school day Occasionally supporting with

holiday camps, birthday parties, or special baking events

(optional, for additional pay)

Part-time hours:

Approx. 2:45-4:45pm (currently Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays)

Salary:

36 per session

Schedule:

Term-time only (no weekends)
