The Learning Academy Partnership has an exciting opportunity for an Afterschool Club Assistant to join our School Trust, based in Lamerton C of E Academy.
Lying at the heart of the beautiful Tamar Valley, Lamerton can be found on the outskirts of Tavistock. As a warm, friendly, village school, our provision takes the fullest advantage of our fantastic outdoor space, and the local environment is very much part of the daily curriculum where a wealth of natural resources makes learning exciting and awe-inspiring for all children. We are looking for someone to join our Afterschool Club team, working to create a safe, creative, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and flourish. This is an incredibly rewarding role, working alongside a passionate team to ensure every child feels valued, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential. You'll be involved in a variety of activities, from creative crafts to active games, helping to remove barriers to learning so every child can thrive.
Our ideal candidate will have experience supporting children in a play or educational setting, be confident in planning and organising a variety of activities. A Paediatric First Aid certificate and/or a food hygiene certificate would be an advantage, but not essential.
