Job Description

Kids R Us are looking for individuals who are interested in working as a 1:1 with a child with additional needs at our After school Club & at our

Shirley setting located at Shirley Primary School, Nuffield Road, Cambridge, CB4 1TF.



We are looking for a hardworking and passionate 1-to-1 play co-ordinators who are willing to work within our clubs using our ethos, values, policies, framework and procedures. We'd like individuals who have lots of game and activity ideas for indoors and outdoors with children.

This role would entail working hours of:

Afterschool Club - 3:00pm-6:00pm - Monday - Friday during term time.



Holiday Club - hours as Playworker available for holiday club



You would work alongside the club staff in providing quality care for children. Fun, friendly and patient are all highly valued qualities you will need. You would be using your initiative to deliver good quality play sessions with the children.

Must have some understanding of play work, child protection and safeguarding or willing to undertake training on this.
