Job Description
A lovely family near Surrey is seeking a Term-Time After-school Nanny to care for their two school-aged children on a permanent basis. The role includes all general nanny duties: school pick-ups (driver essential), preparing healthy meals, engaging the children in play, and supporting light housekeeping related to them. One child is autistic but verbal and articulate, so some understanding of autism is ideal. This term-time-only position also includes occasional babysitting. The family has two cats, so being comfortable around animals is important. A valid first-aid qualification is required.Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm or 6pm (with some babysitting)Duties include:
- All childcare duties related to the children
- School pick-ups from two different schools
- Bringing the children home safely
- Engaging the children in play and activities
- Preparing and serving dinner for the children
- Light housekeeping related to the children (e.g. tidying play areas, laundry)
- General care for two household cats
- Industry Childcare and Education
