Share your time in one of our volunteer roles, either directly supporting or contributing to our Age Cymru Powys's work with and for the older people including veterans and the farming community living in Powys. We'll share with you the volunteer roles currently available and you can select which one best matches how you'd like to give your time.

What will you be doing?

Depending on the volunteer role you select, you may become a:

Community Helper Telephone Befriender Information and Advice Volunteer Appointment booker Helper with forms Toenail-cutter

Veterans focused volunteer Camaraderie Club Volunteer

How would you be supported in this role?

In addition to providing you any relevant training for the role, we will also provide you with check-ins, a key contact or other functions to ensure you are best supported as a volunteer by our team and the Volunteer Coordinator.

Age Cymru Powys works to improve the quality of life for older peopleincluding veterans and the farming community living in Powys.


All people can be in need of help at certain times of their lives. Older people in need will be those who are isolated geographically, socially or economically in Powys or who have health needs which impact upon their lives.

Provide excellent quality services tailored to the needs of older people in Powys. Raise the profile of age issues and enable the voices of older people to positively influence policy and provision. Be a valued, effective, reputable and expert older people's support organisation. Collaborate with other organisations across Powys and Wales enhancing services and avoiding duplication.
