We are seeking a freelance chef to cover the following dates at a private hospital in High Wycombe.
Dates are 29th July through to the 3rd August
08:00 - 18:30
17ph Weekdays, 19ph Weekends
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.
Plan and create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish served.
Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging skill development.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Assist in the preparation of meals, ensuring that all dishes meet the restaurant's standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant environment.
Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervising kitchen staff.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
