The Civil Works Alliance (CWA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Agent

to support the successful delivery of the Sizewell C Project.





CWA, appointed by the Sizewell C client, brings together three leading delivery contractors -- Laing O'Rourke, Bouygues, and Balfour Beatty -- to deliver the civils scope including Enabling Earthworks, Main Civil Works, and Marine and Tunnelling.





We are seeking an

Agent

to support the delivery of the Enabling Works and Earthworks scope. This early stage of the project includes major packages such as the SSSI Crossing, ground improvements, dewatering, diaphragm walls, sea defence, Marine Bulk Import Facility (MBIF), Beach Landing Facility (BLF), construction drainage outfall and bulk earthworks.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm and lead health, safety and environmental performance. Motivate and manage a multi-disciplinary team including Sub Agents, Section Engineers, Site Engineers and Foremen. Produce RAMS, ITPs and programmes, carry out site briefings, and ensure quality documentation is completed. Lead on incident investigations, audits, and risk reviews, implementing improvements where necessary. Manage subcontractors, procurement processes, and commercial documentation. Ensure handover documentation is completed to the required standard. Produce and monitor resourced programmes, reporting against KPIs and project plans. Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring, embedding best practice and driving team performance

What skills & experience are we looking for?

Essential:

HNC/HND/Degree in an engineering discipline (preferably civil or related) or equivalent site experience. Strong knowledge of construction processes in Earthworks/Drainage, Structures, Ground Engineering or Demolition. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with proven ability to manage and motivate teams. Strong understanding of health, safety, quality and temporary works requirements. CSCS card, SMSTS qualification, and a valid driving license

Desirable:

Professional accreditation (e.g. ICE, IHT). Working towards APMQ
