We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join the Blockade Group of companies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong drive to achieve sales targets as well as having experience working within the waste and aggregate industry. This role involves engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance their experience with our products and services. The Sales Representative will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and fostering long-term relationships. Applicants will be expected to work in our office located in Redhill as well as visiting sites when required. A full car licence is essential for this position.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking and referrals.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
Negotiate contracts and close sales effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies that drive sales.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends.
Utilise time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication.
Previous experience in aggregates, topsoil, muck away sales is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent negotiation skills to secure favourable terms for both the company and customers.
A proactive approach with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
Basic IT skills for managing customer databases and utilising sales software effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility when required.
