The Role Scope





We're seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Lead to guide our digital teams through their agile evolution. This is a pivotal role where you'll shape how we deliver technology solutions across web, mobile, backend systems, and data analytics. You'll join us at an exciting time as we expand our agile capabilities and break down traditional barriers to create truly collaborative, cross-functional teams.


?Role Key Responsibilities:





As our Agile Delivery Lead, you'll initially lead a team of up to 10 professionals, with scope to expand to multiple teams within 18-24 months. You'll be instrumental in embedding agile practices, fostering collaboration across traditionally siloed business units, and ensuring our teams deliver value continuously and sustainably.

Team Leadership & Coaching





Coach and mentor team members in Scrum and Kanban methodologies Facilitate all agile ceremonies, ensuring teams maintain healthy, sustainable delivery rhythms Support team growth and scaling strategies as we expand our agile footprint Act as a servant-leader, removing impediments and protecting team focus Foster psychological safety and maintain high team morale throughout the transformation

Stakeholder Collaboration




Build bridges between siloed business teams to create true cross-functional collaboration Guide stakeholders in agile ways of working and manage expectations effectively Translate business needs into team priorities whilst maintaining agile principles Champion agile practices across the wider organisation

Delivery & Continuous Improvement




Ensure consistent, predictable delivery of high-quality solutions Implement and monitor meaningful metrics that demonstrate value delivery Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and team feedback Maintain transparency through effective use of Jira and other collaboration tools Balance multiple work streams across web, mobile, backend, and data initiatives

Design practical approaches to overcome organisational silos Support teams transitioning from various levels of agile maturity Create sustainable practices that stick, not just temporary changes Share knowledge and build agile capability across the organisation

About You

Experience


Minimum 5 years' experience as an Agile Delivery Lead Proven track record in retail, e-commerce, or similar fast-paced digital environments Demonstrated experience leading teams through agile transformations Success in breaking down organisational silos and building collaboration Strong background working with diverse technical teams (development, QA, data, infrastructure)

Skills & Knowledge


Expert-level knowledge of Scrum and Kanban methods Proficiency with Jira and agile project management tools Strong facilitation skills with ability to manage difficult conversations Excellent coaching and mentoring capabilities Understanding of technical concepts sufficient to engage credibly with developers Ability to influence without authority and build consensus
