Agricultural Engineer - Cotswolds

25K-35K a year - Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for an experienced agricultural mechanic to manage our busy workshop. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining and repairing a wide variety of agricultural machinery as well as construction plant equipment and vans.

Heming Engineering is part of a family owned group of companies, and we are looking for the right individual good organisational skills, as well as hands-on experience with a 'can do attitude' to join our team.

The job will be mainly based at our well-equipped workshop, onsite working will also be required.

You will need to have Mathematics and English qualifications and ideally an engineering qualification.

We are looking for candidates with experience working as a mechanic on agricultural machinery, including hydraulic and electrical controls, someone who has experience organising jobs, ordering parts and is capable of working as a team member or alone.

Due to changes in group structure, this role offers opportunity for a more managerial role in the future.

Required:

3 years agricultural equipment workshop experience Clean Driving Licence Mechanical Engineering qualifications (preferred)
