Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our agricultural contracting team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of agricultural equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintenance and fault finding along with fabricating where necessary. Ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely. If the successful candidate can also operate agricultural machinery then there can be an element of tractor driving

Responsibilities

Assemble and disassemble machinery and equipment as needed. Perform regular maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Repair electrical and mechanical components as needed. Conduct equipment inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate.. Maintain a clean and organised workshop space Alongside workshop work there will be field visits to repair breakdowns

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of agricultural machines would be most advantageous . Experience in equipment repair with a focus on both mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills. A valid driver's licence would be required

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
