Summary

Due to continued development of the team we are seeking tractor driver to come and join our busy operations team. This is a hands-on role, where you will assist in growing and harvesting crops. We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can operate and maintain the latest agricultural machinery to a high standard. This is an exciting opportunity to work and contribute to the continued success of a progressive farming enterprise.

The Candidate:

- Experienced Tractor driver

- Experience in workshop and machinery maintenance

- Ability to work alone and within a team

- Hands on experience in operating precision farming machinery

- Full UK driving licence

- To carry out one or more of the skilled driver operations, as listed above, using relevant farm machinery/attachments/equipment with the maximum amount of safety and efficiency in line with department requirements.

- To keep accurate records (e.g. bins planted, crops/fields sprayed or harvested) as required to agreed standard & timescales and maintained for compliance and audit standards.

- Support compliance with records, as required, during audit process & site visits.

- To assist with capture and input of data for the field record and management information systems e.g. areas worked/planted/sprayed/harvested.

- Adhere to the 'clean-as-you-go' policy - ensure excess mud cleared from roads and all work areas kept clean and tidy.

- Report any breakdowns/incidents or vehicle maintenance appropriately.

- Complete driver's daily checks & paperwork as required.

- Repairs & general maintenance of machinery, as required and as competent to do.

- Ensure all materials, machinery & vehicles are stored in appropriate conditions/places and/or are secured.

- To effectively communicate any problems or issues that may have arisen during the day- to-day processes, to the relevant person.

- Undertake and utilise all appropriate training.

- Manage hours worked to ensure legal parameters and company guidelines are not exceeded.

- To be willing to assist other departments, as required during the season by your line manager

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
