The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Agriculture Client Portfolio Manager to join their growing team. This role will focus on managing a diverse portfolio of agricultural clients, providing tailored accountancy and advisory support while ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional client service. You will also mentor junior team members, contribute to business development, and help shape long-term client relationships.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant with a strong understanding of agriculture to step into a forward-thinking firm that values collaboration and progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of agricultural and rural business clients
- Deliver tailored financial, tax, and business advisory services
- Review accounts, tax computations, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Identify opportunities to add value through financial planning and advisory work
- Mentor and supervise junior staff within the team
- Liaise with HMRC, auditors, and other key stakeholders
The Candidate:
- ACA or ACCA-qualified (or equivalent)
- Proven experience managing client portfolios
- Strong understanding of agriculture and rural businesses
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, problem-solving approach and business development mindset
- Full UK driving licence
