Job Description

We're looking for an

AI Development Lead

to own the technical execution of production-grade AI systems. This role combines

hands-on AI engineering

with

technical leadership

, ensuring high-quality delivery of agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, evaluations, and integrations with zero drift from architecture to production.

You'll lead and mentor AI engineers, enforce engineering standards, unblock complex problems, and ensure AI features are

reliable, observable, secure, and performant

.

What You'll Do

Lead implementation of

agentic workflows, RAG systems, retrieval pipelines, and AI features

Translate solution architecture into

clear engineering plans and sprint execution

Architect and build

multi-agent systems

, evaluators, tool calls, and guardrails Enforce

code quality, standards, and best practices

through reviews and mentorship Own

performance, reliability, observability, and cost control

Guide CI/CD, deployments, and production readiness for AI workloads Coach and grow AI engineers across the team
Required Skills

Strong

Python engineering

experience Hands-on experience with

LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, agentic systems

Experience integrating models (Azure OpenAI, Bedrock, Anthropic, etc.) into production Solid understanding of

cloud architecture

(Azure, AWS, or GCP) Experience with

microservices, APIs, data pipelines, and observability

Strong CI/CD, Git, and DevOps fundamentals
Leadership Experience

5+ years leading engineers or complex AI/ML delivery tracks Proven ability to deliver high-quality AI systems under tight timelines Strong cross-functional collaboration skills (UX, QA, architecture, product)
