About us




We're looking for a pragmatic and user-focused

AI

Product Engineer

to help us build intelligent, reliable, and privacy-conscious AI features into Log my Care. You'll work directly with our CTO to explore the most promising use cases for large language models (LLMs) and other emerging AI technologies, rapidly prototype ideas, and deliver tools that reduce admin burden, support care teams, and ultimately improve the quality of care.


This is a foundational role with significant autonomy. You'll be setting the direction, proving what's possible, and laying the groundwork for a new AI capability at Log my Care. That means moving fast, thinking big, and being comfortable with ambiguity.


This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys balancing technical depth with real-world impact, and wants to grow in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment.

The role




As an AI Product Engineer, you will:

Work autonomously:

Deliver complex features & projects with minimal oversight

Embody user centricity:

You understand real-world user workflows and advocate for user needs in technical discussions, partnering with Product and Design to deliver impactful solutions

Architect for scale:

Architect significant features and services, making design trade-offs that support scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability

Champion

a quality mind-set: Own code quality end-to-end within your projects, from clarifying requirements, to writing robust tests and shipping secure, reliable code.

Solve

challenging problems: Proactively identify root causes, implement durable solutions, and share learnings that help others solve problems more effectively

Be data-

driven

: Use data to guide decisions during discovery and development, and deliver work that demonstrably improves product or business metrics

Own operational rollout

: Ensure features get shipped to and work reliably in production

Drive continuous improvement:

Encourage experimentation and continuous improvement by sharing knowledge, mentor others and contributing to team practices


Salary Range

: 55-70K

Location:

This role is based in London.

Our mandatory in-office days are Wednesdays & Fridays.




This will be a great opportunity for you if you want to:



Have strong full-stack fundamentals (Node, TypeScript, React) and 3+ years of engineering experience A proven track record shipping AI/LLM-powered features to production Have deep experience with GenAI tooling such as OpenAI, Claude, Bedrock, and vector databases Understand and have actively mitigated risks in LLM applications, including hallucinations, prompt injection, over-reliance on unverified output, and data privacy concerns Are skilled at evaluating and optimising model performance, and assessing user impact with data Have built systems that balance innovation with reliability, including robust fallbacks, guardrails, confidence scoring, or content moderation mechanisms Thrive in an environment that values user impact, and a culture of continuous learning

Bonus points for having:



Experience working in regulated environments like health or social care A background in Scale Ups, SaaS or B2B product development A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field Have experience working in a

product-led squad,

collaborating closely with PMs and designers to ship impactful features

Final interview with Sam (Co-founder & CEO) to discuss what you might bring to the role and how you might embody our values at LmC (20 minutes).
