Elevate your career by joining MHR, the pioneering SaaS company leading the charge in the UK. We are hiring for a talented AI Software Engineer to join the team in Ruddington. In this role you will provide high quality development and maintenance of Intelligence Services (i.e. API services providing data science models and advanced LLM functionality) for consumption by People First and MHR internally.?

Your Impact

Working as part of an Agile delivery team you'll develop high quality software, meeting business requirements and satisfying quality, performance and security requirements. Undertake research and create proof of concepts as required, and attend conferences and events, documenting afterwards to extend the team knowledge. Support software maintenance and diagnosing and resolution of problems. Advise on technical solutions as per the business requirements and Architecture guardrails. Document decisions and progress in line with corporate and team project management. Provide estimates and commitments to the delivery of work, leading projects where necessary Review code delivered by other developers. Co-ordinate with the assigned QA supporting the creation of automated test processes. Any other tasks typically associated with the Software Development Lifecycle.

What you'll bring to the role and MHR



Advanced Python experience e.g. Poetry, FastAPI, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, Pydantic, Dependency Injector, Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, SciPy, Plotly MS Azure Cloud Platform,?e.g. Logic Apps, Function Apps, Azure Storage, Azure Container Apps, ARM/BICEP templates. Vector Database, e.g. Qdrant, ChromaDB Databricks LLMs Prompt Engineering for LLMs Experience of testing and deployment of data science models to production. Learning and application of?new technologies. Experience with Azure AI Studio
