We are seeking a highly skilled AI / Machine Learning Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions that support business objectives and drive data-driven decision making.
This is a fully remote role within the UK, open to professionals across a wide range of experience levels, from early-career engineers to senior specialists. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement machine learning and AI models for real-world applications
Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines, from data ingestion and preprocessing to model deployment
Collaborate with data engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into AI/ML solutions
Train, evaluate, tune, and optimise models for performance, scalability, and reliability
Deploy models into production and support monitoring, retraining, and model lifecycle management
Apply best practices for model governance, explainability, and responsible AI
Maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing Required Skills and Experience
1 15 years of professional experience in AI, Machine Learning, or related engineering roles
Strong proficiency in Python
Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistics, and data modelling
Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices (Git, code reviews, testing)
Experience deploying ML models into production environments * Experience with Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, or Large Language Models (LLMs)
Knowledge of MLOps practices (CI/CD, model monitoring, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with big data technologies (Spark, distributed computing)
Understanding of data privacy, security, and GDPR compliance
Relevant certifications or advanced academic background in AI/ML
