Air Conditioning Engineer - Telford & Shrewsbury

We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team supporting MOD sites across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for long-term stability, a varied workload, and a professional working environment.

Job Overview

You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair, and installation of a wide range of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Your day-to-day duties will include:

Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Routine servicing, diagnostics, and breakdown response Fault-finding and carrying out remedial works Supporting small project installations and upgrade works Working alongside site teams to ensure compliance and safe working practices
Systems You Will Work On

DX split systems VRV/VRF air conditioning systems Air Handling Units (AHUs) Blast chillers Small refrigeration systems (refrigeration knowledge preferred)
Requirements & Qualifications

We are looking for a reliable and technically competent engineer with strong industry experience. The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer (minimum 3 years preferred) Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills Experience working on DX, VRV/VRF, and small refrigeration systems F-Gas certification (Category 1 preferred) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals High standards of Health & Safety awareness Full UK Driving Licence
