We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Responsibilities
Install, service, and repair a wide range of air conditioning units and systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate installation and troubleshooting.
Conduct routine maintenance to ensure the efficient operation of HVAC equipment, including cleaning filters, inspecting components, and replacing worn parts.
Diagnose faults within air conditioning systems using specialised tools and techniques; perform necessary repairs or replacements promptly.
Lead maintenance projects or team tasks when required, providing guidance and support to junior staff or apprentices.
Collaborate with construction teams during new build or refurbishment projects to ensure HVAC systems are integrated seamlessly into the overall design.
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs undertaken, and parts utilised for compliance and future reference.
Adhere strictly to health & safety regulations whilst working on-site or at client premises.
Qualifications
Proven experience in mechanical knowledge related to air conditioning systems and equipment repair.
Strong understanding of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals relevant to HVAC technology.
Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams or coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
Knowledge of maintenance procedures within construction environments is highly desirable.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in HVAC engineering or refrigeration technology are preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing system faults.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
