We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across various commercial and industrial sites. Duties
Install, service, and repair a wide range of air conditioning units and systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams to facilitate accurate installation and maintenance.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
Diagnose faults in air conditioning equipment using specialised tools and techniques, then execute effective repairs promptly.
Lead maintenance teams on-site, providing guidance and supervision during complex installation or repair projects.
Coordinate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems.
Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including parts used, repairs carried out, and system performance reports.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times whilst working in various environments.
Qualifications
Proven experience in mechanical knowledge related to air conditioning systems, equipment repair, and maintenance.
Strong understanding of schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
Demonstrable leadership skills with experience supervising or guiding team members on technical tasks.
Knowledge of construction processes related to HVAC system installation.
Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment faults efficiently under pressure.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
