Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in air conditioning systems, maintenance, and equipment repair. This role requires an individual who can read and interpret schematics, demonstrate leadership capabilities, and effectively contribute to construction projects involving HVAC systems.

Duties

Install, maintain, commission and repair air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. Willing to work across the UK when required Troubleshoot issues with air conditioning units and provide timely repairs to minimise downtime. Read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repairs. Collaborate with construction teams to integrate air conditioning solutions into new builds or renovations. Lead teams during installation projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project timelines. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer in installation and commissioning on VRF/VRV systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair complex systems. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings related to air conditioning systems. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing small teams or projects preferred. Familiarity with construction processes as they relate to HVAC installations is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Valid CSCS, IPAF, PASMA, C&G 2079 or related fields is desirable.
