Job Description

We are looking for an F Gas Qualified Air Conditioning Engineer to join our ever-growing team of experts. We are an independent, family-owned Mechanical Services Contractor with over 32 years' experience designing, selecting, installing, commissioning, and maintaining HVAC systems in West London. Our business activity is particularly centered on fine dining restaurants and hotels in London, particularly the West End, Mayfair and Soho.

Essential responsibilities for the role:

Good knowledge of air conditioning equipment from splits through to VRF Full UK Driving License F Gas Qualified Neat Installation skills Some knowledge of ventilation systems including ducting, air volumes, kitchen extract systems and air handling units. Possible electrical and fault-finding knowledge (not essential) Good understanding of what stores to carry onboard the van. Install, maintain, and repair a wide range of air conditioning units and systems in commercial and residential environments. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including the safe handling of refrigerants and other hazardous materials.
Essential for the candidate:

F-Gas certification Valid CSCS Card Basic air conditioning / refrigeration qualification [C&G, HNC or HND] A 'can do' attitude and able to work on your own initiative Drive, ambition, and engineering aptitude to get the job done / up and running / completed Willing to work on weekends and to work away when required (overtime). A willingness to work over-time if required. Must have good attention to detail with a work ethic of leaving sites clean and tidy Willing to undertake direct instruction from management A Full UK Drivers License Proven experience in air conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair within construction or facilities management sectors. Knowledge of HVAC equipment repair techniques and preventative maintenance practices. Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations related to HVAC systems and construction sites.
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience - Minimum 20.00 per hour

Additional, ongoing training will be provided as well as the obligatory PPE equipment and specialist tools. The successful engineer will be expected to bring or acquire [as part of his working experience] his own set of hand tools.

Candidates will be considered within a 60-mile radius of Mayfair, Central London [or up to 1 hour travelling]; attendance at the office is minimal and anticipated to be only 2 or 3 hours a week.
