We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in HVAC systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance. This role involves designing, installing, servicing, and repairing air conditioning and related systems across various property types. Candidates with construction background, service technician experience, and proficiency in schematics and HVAC design are highly preferred. A valid driver's license is required. Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and repair air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, boilers, and HVAC equipment.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to ensure proper system installation and maintenance.
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R systems to optimize performance and extend equipment lifespan.
Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and leak repairs.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for diagnostics and repairs.
Diagnose mechanical issues using mechanical knowledge and field service techniques.
Repair appliances and perform general property maintenance as needed.
Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, and inspections.
Ensure compliance with safety standards during all installation and repair activities.
Operate vehicles safely as a driver to reach various job sites.
Requirements
Proven experience in HVAC service technician roles with a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems.
Knowledge of refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is a plus.
Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, boiler operation, welding, and plumbing is essential.
Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and property maintenance procedures.
Experience working with appliances repair and field service operations preferred.
Ability to read technical diagrams accurately and troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
Valid driver's license is mandatory for travel between job sites.
Prior construction experience or mechanical mechanic background is advantageous.
