Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer or engineers mate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to build, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the capability to interpret schematics effectively. Leadership skills are also essential as you will be guiding junior staff and ensuring high standards of work.

Responsibilities

Install, and maintain air conditioning systems in various settings. Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics of existing systems to ensure optimal performance. Perform equipment repairs and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate installation and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to complete projects efficiently. Provide leadership and training to junior engineers and apprentices. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all operations.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or in a similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems. Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing teams or projects. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance. Relevant certifications or qualifications in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems are preferred. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.

Hourly rate will depend on level of experience. We will consider both experienced engineers and engineers mates for this role.

Driving licence essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00-20.00 per hour
