Job Summary

Spheretech Ltd is seeking an experienced and technically confident

Air Conditioning Service & Maintenance Engineer

with a strong background in

split systems

and

VRF/VRV units

. This is a hands-on field-based role delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and installation works across a wide range of commercial clients.

We're looking for someone with a

minimum of 5 years' experience

, who is confident working independently, able to fault-find under pressure, and committed to delivering work to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Service, and maintain a variety of air conditioning systems, including split, multi-split, and VRF/VRV units Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs using a logical and methodical approach Carry out commissioning and decommissioning of systems Maintain accurate records, job sheets, and client sign-offs Communicate clearly with clients, ensuring excellent service delivery Work within health and safety and F-Gas compliance guidelines Be available for occasional overtime and lodging away from home when needed

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience

as an A/C engineer (split & VRF/VRV systems essential)

F-Gas Category 1 certification

(essential) NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent) Full UK Driving Licence Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Customer-focused, professional attitude

The interview process will include a technical assessment to demonstrate competency
