Key Responsibilities
Conduct borescope inspections on
CFM56/V2500
engines, evaluating turbine, compressor, and combustion sections for defects including cracks, FOD, wear, and contamination
Perform
General Visual Inspections (GVI)
when required
Interpret
OEM manuals
to determine engine technical condition
Prepare detailed inspection documentation, including image/video recording and technical reports using digital reporting systems
Coordinate follow-up actions with Engineering teams
Maintain inspection equipment, ensuring calibration records remain current
Work in full compliance with
EASA regulations

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum
3 years of direct borescope inspection experience
on:
CFM56 (-5B and -7B preferred)
LEAP (1A and 1B)
V2500
(Experience on additional engine types is an advantage)
Experience with
APU BSI
is considered an advantage
Completed
BSI Inspector training
from a P-147 organisation or equivalent
Strong understanding of
OEM maintenance manuals
and inspection criteria
Proficiency with borescope tools and imaging systems (e.g.,
GE Everest
,
Olympus IPLEX
)
Strong written and verbal communication skills in
English
High attention to detail and ability to work independently
Ability to travel at short notice, mainly within Europe
