Our Luton location are pleased to announce we are in the process of opening a new Component Workshop. As a result of this, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Component Supervisor to join our team in Luton. Specialising in wheels, batteries and related repair work, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing essential aircraft components, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities:
Supervise the activity of the Wheel shop and Battery shop mechanics to perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities on aircraft wheels, batteries and associated components.
Carry out and support the Release to Service Certification of wheels, batteries and associated components.
Ensure adherence to maintenance manuals, engineering instructions, and regulatory requirements (e.g. UK CAA & EASA Part 145 standards).
Ensure clearly record on worksheets details of the tasks completed, accurately reflecting the works performed with time booking
Liaise with internal stakeholders in planning, stores and commercial.
Liaise with external stakeholders when required to complete the scope of work.
Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures and COSHH requirements
Support the workshop team in achieving production schedules and performance targets.
Ensure the maintenance of a clean, organised, and efficient work environment
Comply with all procedures listed in the current Staff Company Handbook
Any other duties commensurate with the position

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:
A minimum of 5 years working in Aviation, ideally within maintenance and repair of wheels, batteries and related components
Must have a working knowledge of UK CAA and/or EASA regulations which applies to component overhaul/repair
Certification experience of Wheels and or Batteries
Strong attention to detail
