JOB TITLE: Aircraft Hold Load and Driver

REPORTING TO: Cleaning Duty Manager

LOCATION: London Heathrow Airport

CONTRACT: Full time Permanent

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week

SHIFT PATTERN: 4 days on 2 days off early start 05:00am and latest finish 23:30pm

PAY: 14.11 per hour

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

Working as part of a team of two, supporting the vehicle driver to safely position specialist hi-lift vehicles adjacent to aircraft. You will undertake vehicle loading and unloading followed by restocking cabin amenities and stripping used cabin laundry on various aircraft types to the high standards required by our clients and our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Banksman for all vehicle movements that including positioning vehicles adjacent to aircraft and warehouse loading bays Collecting used aircraft cabin laundry and loading new aircraft cabin amenities onto a range of aircraft types Restocking aircraft cabin consumables into each aircraft cabin Fold blankets and store blankets and pillows in overhead compartments Removing rubbish from the aircraft and making sure that it is properly disposed of Work as part of a team and ensure that you have good knowledge of all areas of the operation and aircraft Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while complying with the company's expectations, rules, and procedures Assuring the proper handling of hazardous materials, correct use of uniform, safety vest, earplugs, and safety behaviour actions inside and outside the aircraft Be professional in appearance and manners towards co-workers, clients and any other person within the airport and work location Carry out any other duties reasonably assigned

Very good attention to details and very good observation skills Being able to work under pressure and multitask Be a great team player Be physically fit as you will need to carry heavy loads and climb stairs Being able to quickly adapt to a very busy operational environment Able to work without constant supervision and follow the management instructions Be reliable and flexible and used to working to deadlines Good verbal communication skills in English
