Would you like to re-trade ? with your current skill-set have you thought about becoming a motorhome/caravan engineer ? We will assist you go through your NCC programme to become a Motorhome/caravan engineer which entails Electrical courses and GAS courses etc. working on the habitational aspect ( not Mechanical works this is contracted offsite )

As the UK's largest Motorhome and Caravan dealer, we have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to join our team at our Devon (Plymouth) branch.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills is friendly, outgoing with the ability to work in a team environment and to strict deadlines. If you are looking for a career change, and have practical skills with problem solving mind-set, this position may just be what you are looking for. A full UK driving licence is essential for this position and a competitive salary package will be available depending on experience.

You will be working on bespoke, hand built vehicles that require a practical mind and an eye for detail, caring for a product that our customers truly cherish.

Everyday jobs will include:

Habitation Inspection Woodwork - Internal repairs Gas Repairs and installation 12v and 240 volt repairs and installation Heating system diagnosis and repairs Fitting of accessories: Bike Racks, Awnings, TV aerials and Solar Panels Electrical diagnosis and repairs Warranty diagnosis and repairs Creating a happy working environment Ensuring our customers product is of the highest quality
Personal Specification

Languages - must be fluent in English and be able to write competently Excellent verbal communication skills - has the ability to convey information verbally to fellow team members and customers Stability under pressure - reacts well to change and stays positive despite setbacks Able to work as part of a team Able to adapt to the company's needs in the way we deliver our service Reliable and takes pride in the quality of their work
Hours of work are full time. Flexibility will be required around busier times of the year.
