About the Role

Reporting to the Ground Transportation Manager and the Bussing Shift Supervisors, Ground Transport Operative's will deliver a safe and efficient bussing operation landside . GTOs will be the face of Birmingham Airport, often being the first and last interaction a passenger will have on their journey through BHX, focusing on providing passengers with a smooth, safe, and enjoyable journey whilst providing excellent customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

Always provide a safe operation, adhering to both UK and BAL specific driving regulations.

Maintain all relevant documentation and license requirements.

Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.

. Identify and escalate any issues through the relevant safety systems

Provide excellent customer service to both passengers and stakeholders, maintaining excellent working relationships across departments.

To carry out such duties commensurate with the grading of the post which may be determined from time to time.

Candidate

requirements

Be fully flexible and able to work a roster that meets the business needs of 24-hour operation.

Hold and maintain relevant driving licenses.

Must hold a full PCV license and a valid CPC license.

Demonstrate a high standard of customer service, always promoting the airports values.

Champion a culture that focuses on health and safety, reporting accidents/ incidents and near misses.

Complete and comply with all training to meet company Health and Safety standards and CAA regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: 12.35 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
