Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Blackburn with Darwen taxi drivers license badge, with the ability to operate an automatic vehicle (included if needed @ rental rates). This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety and efficiency in all driving tasks.

Duties

Collecting holiday and business clients, taking and returning to and from UK Airports, mostly MAN, JLA & LBIA

Maintain logs of your journeys given. Communicate effectively with dispatcher and clients Assist with loading and unloading luggage as necessary. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Provide excellent customer service during transfers, representing the company positively at all times. Perform periodic checks on the vehicle to ensure it is always road worthy.

Experience

Proven experience as a taxi/airport driver or in a similar role is preferred. A valid Blackburn with Darwen taxi licensing is badge required. Smartphone usage essential. The ability to follow instruction and be available on your mobile phone as and when needed. Possible regular school contract available. Excellent communication skills, are essential for effective interaction with clients, a smart casual appearance, and pride in keeping yourself and the vehicle clean and tidy at all times.
