SPEC Engineering Ltd

is a Global Engineering Company with new UK offices based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

We are looking to fill a number of roles at varying levels of experience to join our engineering teams in the UK.

Piping Engineers (Senior/Junior & Entry Level) Mechanical Engineers (Senior/Junior & Entry Level) Static Engineers (Senior/Junior & Entry Level) Project Managers (All Levels)

Salaries are negotiable depending upon experience.

As an Engineer with SPEC you will provide technical support throughout the fabrication and installation phases, including review of shop drawings and vendor submittals. They will engage in the preparation of design reports, specifications, and technical documentation and join design reviews, ensuring compliance with all technical and regulatory requirements.

Key attributes needed for any of our Engineering roles are:

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety. Innovative thinker with the ability to propose creative design solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and tight deadlines.

Ideal Qualifications/Experience:

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Experience

Minimum of 7+ years of experience for Senior Roles Proven experience in working with pressure vessel manufacturers where relevant. A good understanding of industry standards, including ASME, TEMA, and other international codes. Knowledge and practical experience with design codes such as

ASME

(Section VIII, Section II, and Section IX),

TEMA

,

API

, and other relevant international standards. Proficiency in the use of

Compress, NozzlePRO

,

FEA software

(ANSYS) for structural and thermal analysis of mechanical equipment. Familiarity with

3D modeling software

such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.

Experience working in the Oil and Gas Industry would be an advantage.

Additional Requirements:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Must be able to work in the United Kingdom without Sponsorship. The roles are Office Based role therefore the ability to commute to Leatherhead, Surrey is essential.
