We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Wheel Technician to join our small team at Marquise Alloys. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge and be proficient in changing and balancing tyres, preparing/repairing alloy wheels and be able to paint and lacquer to a high standard. The ability to operate a CNC lathe to diamond cut wheels is an added advantage but not essential as training will be given. This role requires heavy lifting and a commitment to providing excellent customer service, including a small amount of driving and cleaning duties.
Responsibilities
Inspect, repair, and refurbish Wheels/Tyres on various vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to perform wheel/Tyre installations and repairs.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding tyre maintenance.
Experience
Previous experience as a Wheel Technician/Painter or in a similar bodyshop painter role is essential.
Use of CNC lathe is preferred but not essential as training will be given
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in tyre/wheel servicing is advantageous.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as required in the role.
