Overview
We are seeking a Alterations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge for tailoring and garment adjustments, ensuring each customer receives personalised and high-quality service.
Responsibilities
Conduct fittings with clients to assess alteration requirements and provide expert advice. Perform precise alterations including hemming, taking in or letting out seams, resizing, and repairing garments. Ensure all alterations are completed within agreed timeframes while maintaining quality standards. Maintain a clean, organised workspace and ensure all tools and equipment are properly cared for.
Qualifications
Proven experience in garment alterations. Proficiency in using sewing machines, hand sewing techniques, and other tailoring tools. Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From 13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 22.5 per week
