, an award-winning alternative learning provider supporting schools, families and communities across Devon. We're seeking compassionate and skilled Alternative Learning Tutors to deliver bespoke one-to-one tuition for students who are struggling to access education.
What You'll Do
Specialist Tuition:
Deliver personalised 1:1 support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Your Approach:
Use creative, student-centred methods to reignite engagement, confidence and a love of learning.
Collaboration:
Work closely with families, schools, professionals and the wider Lexia team to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
Monitor Progress:
Track and record achievements, celebrating every milestone along the way.

What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
or equivalent recognised qualification (required).
Minimum 3 years' experience
in teaching or student support.
Strong communication
and relationship-building skills.
Commitment
and genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners.
