We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for students with ASC and associated needs, guiding them in their academic and personal development. The Lead Teacher will work collaboratively with other educators and staff to implement curriculum and foster a positive classroom atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the educational standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
Collaborate with fellow teachers, parents, and administration to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Maintain classroom discipline while promoting respect and inclusivity among students.
Organise and participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Stay updated on educational best practices and incorporate innovative teaching methods into the curriculum.
Qualifications
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is essential.
Previous experience in a teaching role, preferably in a leadership capacity, is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in lesson planning and classroom management.
A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that supports all students' needs.
Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance teaching practices is advantageous.
