Overview



A leading UK media company is seeking

three experienced Alteryx Developers

to support a critical data and analytics programme. These roles will involve building robust Alteryx workflows that connect to external APIs and centralise data for enterprise-wide analysis. Candidates with additional Power BI skills are preferred, as downstream reporting is a key component of the project.

Key Responsibilities



Design, develop and maintain complex

Alteryx workflows

, optimised for scalability and reuse Integrate Alteryx pipelines with

external APIs

, ingesting data from various sources Implement

centralised data storage solutions

(e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake, or equivalent) Collaborate with analytics and reporting teams to ensure data readiness for

Power BI dashboards

Perform

data cleansing, transformation, and enrichment

to support business insights Conduct peer reviews and adhere to best practices for version control and governance Troubleshoot workflow issues and proactively optimise performance Support project documentation, handover materials, and knowledge sharing

Required Skills and Experience



Proven commercial experience as an

Alteryx Designer / Developer

Strong working knowledge of

Alteryx Designer

,

Server

, and

Gallery

Solid understanding of

API integration techniques

and authentication methods (RESTful APIs, OAuth etc.) Experience with

data modelling

and centralised storage solutions (SQL-based systems preferred) Familiarity with

Power BI

-- specifically creating visualisations, DAX measures, and data modelling Strong problem-solving skills with attention to performance and scalability Experience in media, digital, or fast-paced environments is advantageous

Desirable Qualifications



Alteryx Designer Core or Advanced Certification

Microsoft Certified:

Data Analyst Associate (Power BI)

Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

Location:

UK-based candidates only due to data security and compliance requirements

Working Model:

Remote-first, with some on-site presence required

Contract Term:

3 months initially, with a strong likelihood of extension based on delivery
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: Up to 400.00 per day

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Work Location: Hybrid remote in London NW1 2PL
