Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. Based in our workshop, you will play a vital role in fabricating and assembling aluminium shopfronts, windows & curtain walling. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-established company dedicated to quality.

Responsibilities

Fabrication, inclusive of hanging, beading, gasketing, of Aluminium Frames, i.e. Doors, Windows, Curtain Wall and Shop fronts. To ensure the manufacturing schedule is achieved as quickly and efficiently as possible in order to meet targets and deadlines. Use of various machinery i.e. double headed saw, CNC machine, router etc Reporting to supervisor and management Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop. Liaise with powder coating firm to drop material down and collect Keep stock of all materials liaising with APS

Qualifications

Proven experience in aluminium fabrication Strong knowledge of shopfront & curtain walling using APS system Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical drawings. Good understanding of health and safety regulations in a workshop environment. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Previous experience is necessary Reliable with a strong work ethic.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
