Family run Company looking for experienced aluminium window door fitter , van supplied , 7.30-4.00 Monday - Thursday, 7.30-3.00 on Friday

wage negotiable on experience

Duties

Install and fit windows according to specifications and building regulations. Measure and prepare window openings to ensure proper fitting. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and securing window frames. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to complete installations accurately. Perform repairs on existing windows, including sealing, glazing, and weatherproofing. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and masons, to ensure seamless integration of window fittings within the overall structure. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Conduct quality checks on completed installations to ensure they meet company standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Window Fitter or similar role is essential. Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good physical fitness is required due to the nature of the job involving lifting and working at heights.
