AKS Lytham is looking to appoint an Alumni Engagement Assistant to support the growth of our alumni community and the development of the AKS Lytham Foundation. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Marketing and Development team and play a key role in strengthening connections between our alumni, students and wider school community.
Working closely with the Marketing and Development team, you will support:
Maintaining and developing the alumni database (oaksconnect.com)
Delivering engaging digital and print communications, including social media
Assisting with the planning and delivery of alumni and Foundation events
Encouraging alumni to connect with students through mentoring and careers support
Helping preserve and share the school's archives
The successful candidate will have at least two years' experience in a stakeholder engagement role, ideally in the charity or education sector, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be confident using digital platforms, highly organised and able to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
This is a permanent, part-time role, working four days per week during term time, plus four additional weeks across the year. Some evening and weekend work will be required to support events, with time off in lieu given.
