Grade 6: 34,982 - 40,855 per annum including the Oxford University Weighting of 1,500 per annum

Permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week)

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Alumni Events Officer to create, manage and deliver a wide range of innovative and strategic events for our growing communities of alumni and elumni (participants of our online programmes). From online networking sessions and hybrid masterclasses to large-scale international gatherings, you'll play a key role in building a vibrant, global alumni network and supporting lifelong learning and professional development.

Key responsibilities:
Plan and deliver a diverse calendar of in-person, virtual and hybrid alumni events worldwide Collaborate with internal stakeholders and alumni volunteers to design events that align with strategic goals Use feedback and data insights to refine event offerings and maximise engagement Manage event logistics, budgets and communications--including creating content, liaising with vendors and using platforms like Salesforce, Cvent and Zoom Support promotional campaigns across social media and direct communications
You will have substantial experience in planning and delivering professional events, including virtual and hybrid formats, within a fast-paced environment. You will demonstrate strong administrative and financial management skills, with the ability to gather and act on feedback to drive continuous improvement. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities are essential, along with proven experience in stakeholder engagement, marketing content creation and IT proficiency (particularly in Microsoft Office and database systems).
