Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated amateur Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in amateur boxing coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate athletes of all skill levels. This role involves developing training programmes, providing guidance during practices and competitions, and fostering a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective training programmes tailored to the needs of individual athletes and the team as a whole. Conduct regular practice sessions, ensuring that all activities are engaging, educational, and safe. Provide constructive feedback to athletes to enhance their skills and performance. Monitor the progress of athletes, setting goals and adjusting training plans as necessary. Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among all participants. Organise and oversee competitions, ensuring that all logistical aspects are managed effectively. Maintain open communication with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders regarding performance and development.

Experience

Proven experience in boxing coaching or teaching is essential. Strong knowledge of the sport being coached, including rules, techniques, and strategies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership qualities. A commitment to continuous personal development in coaching methodologies and practices is highly desirable.
