Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods from the vehicle, performing heavy lifting as required. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time of arrival and departure. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential issues. Assist in warehouse duties when not on deliveries, including inventory management and organisation of stock.

Skills

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience operating a commercial vehicle is an advantage. Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment. Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial but not essential. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in managing delivery schedules.
